Message	Experience in environmental and mechanical testing of various automotive components. The corrosion on the suspension parts which the OP claims to be AMS parts is consistent with samples I've seen fail a humidity storage test due to plating issues. Either not enough plating, uneven plating or the wrong plating composition. Bear in mind that is a humidity test, at 95% humidity, for 96 hours, at 65°C. That is an accelerated test designed to simulate the warranty period of the product. This has nothing to do with a rat, the issue here is clearly a plating issue. There is either a problem with the plating specified by AMS, or with the company producing the parts. That is my professional opinion, and has nothing to do with my disgust of Fuckface Vuk.
